Visual Developer - Visual C#

I am not that much of a visual guy, but I can leave with that. I have been told some horror stories about mismatching skills and distinctions.

Many thanks for Justin Angel, for all the effort he put into it.

Many congratulations. Somehow I'd kind of assumed that you were an MVP already. (And don't worry about the Visual stuff - I'm just the same, and it's definitely a "ah, find an vaguely appropriate pigeon hole" job.)

Mazeltov. I too were convinced you were already one. How does that happen, anyway? You get recommended by someone else, and then they just accept you?

Congrats. Any chance you'll be able to come to the MVP summit in April? I'd love to be a fly on the wall when you're turned loose in a room with some of the MS product teams ;-)

Avish,

Yes, basically, in this case, the principal recommender was Justin.

There is a selection process and yearly renewal, you can see MS' site for all the details

Congratulations, Oren, and well-deserved. It'll be fun to have another ALT.NETer to hang with at the MVP Summit. You'll need to convince Microsoft to create a "MVP - Plain-text Developer - Boo".

Nobody deserves it more ... and they really would have to give you an MVP in so many categories to do your work justice, so picking one that is not your ideal match isn't really a problem, consider it a compliment!
