So far I like #28 the best, but you should try to get them to use the original blue colors (or something close to it).

I still don't really love any of them, they are just good.

I like several of them, but #29 is definitely my favorite. However, it's color scheme is quite a departure from both the Hibernating Rhinos line and the current RavenDB color scheme.

To be honest none of them looks like a raven, 31 looks like a angels wing!

I don't like any of them. They all look like fonts to me... There isn't any creativity or anything, just... so... generic...

I think you should try the gold package so theres more incentive for good designers to come up with concepts.

If i HAD to pick from any of the available ones... I would say 28...

amount of money aside, if you want a good logo don't give people 24 hours to create one.

34 - I love the flying Raven incorporated in to the logo, and among all those that do that this is the best one. #31 is also nice because it's very clean and simple.

What is wrong with the current logo? I like it better than any of these other ones.

They look basically the same to me, too 'american' - unsophisticated, obvious and self-centered (sorry to all americans who don't fit this stereotype). And deadly serious.

PS I'd suggest a more artistic and less direct design. Something that has a mood, a feeling to it (sorry, english is not my native language) - raven is a dark, mysterious bird some examples of what I'm talking about http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs5/i/2006/349/0/0/Tribal_Raven_by_DrewTheWolf.png http://www.layoutsparks.com/1/41930/raven-loop-hanging-crow.html http://www.wildravens.net/RG_meaning.cfm?22 http://www.clipartpal.com/_thumbs/pd/holiday/halloween/raven_in_moonlight.png

I cannot choose for you, but some proposals for chosing which to eliminate

Do not choose a logo with gloss or gradients - it gets old really fast (such as 53) - i would say a subtle gradient is ok, but the logo should look nice without it. In my opinion, the best logos are simple, and straightforward (61: too much noice, are those things wings? 55: too many gradients, the the drawn bird is too detailed, same with 53). 51 is too heavy.

Also important, some of the artists do not know what a raven actually looks like! http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/willow/raven-info0.gif, #60 looks like a eagle??

I like #26. I think the feather represents the lightweight nature of RavenDB while also being evocative of the Raven. It's clean, it's simple, it doesn't have excess ornamentation. Again just like RavenDB.
