What do you think? previous: WCF Async without proxies next: Annoying I played a bit with Expression Design and go this logo: Update: Andy had some good suggestions: Comments 03/29/2008 02:50 PM by Jakob Andersen Even though i never got the whole Rhino reference thing it looks like a smooth logo with a clear message ;-) 03/29/2008 03:33 PM by Andy I like the overall theme, but I think I would run the road sign through The GIMP or Photoshop to get rid of "travel at your own risk" and remove the background. In fact, to make it super clean, you might want to use the Roadgeek 2005 fonts and create a new road sign from scratch. 03/29/2008 03:42 PM by esk Pretty Rhino, but I think without ears it would be much better) 03/29/2008 04:04 PM by Krzysztof Koźmic I like it. Does it mean that you're going to pick up with HR again? If I may suggest, I'd love to see a screencast (or a series) on AOP using Castle. 03/29/2008 04:16 PM by Ayende Rahien How about it now? 03/29/2008 04:21 PM by Tuna Toksoz Liked the logo and the slogan so much! 03/29/2008 10:12 PM by Gauthier Segay Sounds like spam ;) 03/31/2008 02:05 AM by Jan Limpens In general quite ok. o) I'd avoid stretching fonts or artwork, looks amateurish. o) The rhino drawing needs to be cleaned up vectorwise, especially at the ear tips; I think it looks a bit hostile. Do you want that?; Eyes should lay a bit lower if I am not mistaken. o) Road shield pointing towards the center was nicer. 03/31/2008 03:45 PM by Gabe I like the over all design for a splash/ad but for a logo, I think it is a bit too much. One of the rules-of-thumb for a logo is it has t be able to be drawn quickly, by hand, on a napkin. I would say the rhino is a good logo, and the rest is a great design around that logo. Though I agree that the rhino looks a bit hostile. Comments have been closed on this topic.
