Travel Plans

time to read 1 min | 61 words

It looks like I'll be doing some traveling soon.

18 Feb - 20 Feb - I am going to visit London. I got the 18/19 evenings free, if someone want to meet up and have some fun.

23 Feb - 11 Mar - I am going to be in Seattle. Again, anyone who want to meet up, I am game.

Last time I played against Roy I beat him, but it was very close, and he was in the lead for most of the game.

No doubt you have a large fanbase in London :D

Why not all go for dinner? I live and work in the area so I could organise something...

Clerkenwell/Farringdon is a great place for bars, if you can handle your drink. There's nothing like a great debate after a few Jeigerbombs! :-)

pretty sure the London dotnet group is meeting on the 19th...

Ayende,

It would be great to have you come along to building 35 at Microsoft sometime while you are in Seattle.

I'd love to talk the Future of OR/Ms with you

Alex

What about the Lowlander on Drury lane?

They have a mezzanine level that we could reserve...

We should have a nerd dinner in Seattle. The Crossroads mall seems to be the place where Nerd dinners happen:

http://www.crossroadsbellevue.com/

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=15600+NE+8TH+Street,+Bellevue,+WA+98008&sll=47.577324,-122.172975&sspn=0.009727,0.019698&ie=UTF8&z=16&iwloc=addr

Or is that too far out of the way from wherever you will stay?

How about March 5th?

I think Wednesday, March 5 at the Bellevue Crossroads Mall is a great date for a Meet-up and geek dinner.

Check with Scott Hanselman and see if he is in town. He can coordinate with the 'softies too.

Also, on Monday, March 3, it is the March Seattle Agile Development group meeting. I'll see what I can dig up about that. If they don't have a program scheduled, do you want to be it!?

Dennis,

If you want me to talk about something, I am game :-)

I think that March 5th is also the day that Mix 08 starts, so that may be a problem
