I noticed that I have sudden CPU spikes for no good reason. After tracking it a bit, I found that the culprit is Outlook 12.

Take a look at the CPU time numbers:

Just to give an idea about the implications, SQL Server used only two minutes of CPU, and I hit it quite a bit recently.

Here is the CPU Graph, I’m showing just one CPU, due to space constraints, but the second is just as busy (HT machine).
