I mean that runtime configuration doesn't have to be XML.
  
For that matter, I would rather that it wouldn't.

Just wanted to drop a quick note here in the comments to let you know that we are actively looking into how to best integrate a container into the bus itself. Last weekend saw a lot of work both in the code and in conversation between Chris and myself on this exact topic!
  
  
Thanks for the review it will provide much needed discussion on where we can improve the bus. First up for me is to clean up our XML and use the more natural Windsor functions.

Why do you dislike using XML for configuring Windsor?  Surely it's better because you can change the implementations at run-time without rebuilding the system.
