I am reading you blog about 2 years and whatever you are talking about is improving my life or thinking. Sometime I am not able to get the big picture of your discussion. One humble request mine, Is there any change of publishing a small sample application with all the infrastructure what you are talking about. If you can spend few hours and make the sample and give us, I hope, it will prevent us from wasting years. Thanks.

Regards,

Nagarajan.

A lot of it was finding the parts that required me to do something special and remove them.

Zero friction!

I consider this a success, because getting a call a year later means that they were able to continue development without issues during all that time

Allow me to assure you that this most assuredly not the case

I'd like to be able to leave a system such that I don't have to worry about a phone call a year later asking how it works.

My problem is that I know what I want to say, I just don't know what's the best format to put the information in.
