Have you looked at MVC frameworks? They are radically different in design and implementation.
  
Take Spring.MVC vs. Structs, as a simple example. Same goal, totally different way of getting there.

I mean it is an MVC framework like mono rail so why do they have to be different?
  
  
MVC is going to be supported/documented  by Microsoft  (thus widely used) and that will be a huge diference when you choose what framework to use on a web app.
  
  
Someone might be expecting microsoft to release a never seen wonderful piece of code?

Its amazing how identical the ms mvc stuff is the monorail. coincidence? i think not.
