If you prefer MonoRail for new stuff, I suppose Igloo is best suited for legacy code.

The problem I see is people having a false sensation of security about their code because they are using a MVC framework and have their controllers tested. Then there is a 90% probabilities of the app failing for some webforms lifecycle issue, specially with ObjectDataSource control and similars.

It's definitely impossible to test the behavior of the app

Check my post on MVC for Web Forms for why this is not likely.

Could you please post a sample windsor config for setting up the basic facilities/components for this.

I've tried to port the config I had for Castle.Igloo but I've stuffed something up.

One of the reason I cannot start using Monorail on existing projects is the large amount of existing web/user controls that we have.

I am will have to investigate Igloo more. One problem with the dependency on Rhino Commons is that that is dependent on the trunk of Castle and nhibernate which is a little problem for me (I would prefer to run from the stable releases for production apps).

I don't care much for the distinction, but as far as I am aware, MVP means that the presenter is also concerned with (at least) some presentation concerns (view.ShowUserDetails(), frex).

What you've described here seems more like MVP. How do you draw up the distinction between MVC and MVP? As you've noted, MVC is pretty much impossible with WebForms.

Perfect timing, BTW, I was just starting to dig into Rhino Igloo...
