The new Office Business Application seems an interesting platform to work with (stay in the .NET arena).  But hadn't had a chance yet (the new office still not common to most companies).
  
  
Can you work in a domain driven fashion with those expensive-big-overrated apps or even with aspect oriented programming? I really doubt that. 
  
  
  
  
  
ps: I thought you were exaggerating about SISS, but today I saw some co-workers giving up completely on SISS! Some stuff was re-written using some bulk insert tricks.. I kept asking why they couldn't import the excel/text file using SISS, but the mood wasn't good (it seems error handling is rather poor).
