I'm not aware of all the tools out there. I do agree that TFS gets in the way of productivity. There's a bigger thing brewing here that isn't about MS vs. OSS, but rather suites of tools that are designed to work together vs. lots of great tools that are cobbled together (sometimes with bubblegum and bailing wire). I don't think neither MS or the OSS world has the integrated solution. We call it integrated but what does that really mean? The entire API is open and pretty well designed. There are numerous TFS tools already available and more coming.
