I just hit a reproducable bug in VS that would cause an IDE crash. I also found out how to fix it.
Fire Camtasia and do the exact same operation using Camtasia. Work perfectly.

I'm not familiar with Camtasia - what is it? Google points me at http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp, which doesn't seem like a VS alternative?
That is what I used, yes.
It is not a VS alternative. Just a way to make sure that if VS fails, I will have it recorded.
It never crashes when I record
Could you describe the steps to reproduce the bug? The Camtasia factor makes it even more intriguing!
IIRC, it was using <%$ Resources:(Crash here), which I successfully reproduced several times, but was unable to do so under Camtasia.
