Select N+1 is also applicable for user interface

I just opened Messenger for the first time in maybe a year, here is what it end up looking like (and this is the truncated list):

Messenger is such a buggy product, really!
I though that for strategic products MS was assigning its best developers but I now really have doubts.

I use Pidgin too. Small, simple, to the point and multiple accounts/protocols support.

I'd just uninstall and then get the latest version. I've never had problems with Messenger and have been using it for about 10 years.

I use meebo. It's great because you don't have to install anything and when you login somewhere else you log onto all the different protocols
